Somleng is a voice studio for Khmer and English. This page explains what we collect when you use the website, the Telegram bot or the Telegram Mini App, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details. If you register with email and password: your email address and a hashed (unreadable) version of your password. If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. If you sign in with Telegram: your Telegram ID, name, username and profile picture.
- Scripts you generate. The text you turn into speech is sent to Google's Gemini API to produce the audio. Generated audio may be cached for up to a day so repeated requests are fast.
- Security data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and your IP address for limiting repeated sign-up and login attempts. These expire automatically.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- We only use Google sign-in to identify you; we don't access your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in Singapore, and the site runs on Vercel. Speech is generated by Google's Gemini API.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. To delete your account and its data, email meunchamroeun09@gmail.com from the address on your account.
